An economist with more than 20 years of experience in tax consulting and labour market and social security regulations, both in Slovenia and in other EU countries. Her specialist focus is on taxation and status of small entrepreneurs and persons working abroad, particularly the question of tax residence and double taxation. Between 1992 and 2010, she was also the editor and assistant editor of a magazine on tax and taxation, Revija o davkih DENAR.
An economist with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing and evaluating economic policy measures and their implementation in the political context. He was the director of the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development, vice president of the Economic Policy Committee of the European Council, and the Minister of Finance in the Slovenian government. He is also a full professor of economics and one of the most widely read columnists.
